Giving access to another user on your Google Domain

Google Domains is a domain name registrar operated by Google. It offers various services such as domain registration, DNS hosting, dynamic DNS, and domain and email forwarding. It also provides integration support for Google Cloud DNS and Google Workspace.

Once you have your own domain, you can share management of your domain with other Google users by following these simple steps:

  1. Sign in to Google Domains
  2. Select your Domain’s name
  3. Open the Menu (≡)
  4. Click on “Registration settings”
  5. Right under “Domain permissions,” click “Add user”.
  6. Enter the email address of the person you are giving access
  7. Confirm you authorize to add the user.

The added user will then receive an email notification with a link to log into Google Domains.

Take note that sharing a domain does not change the ownership of the domain, it only gives the added user full permission to manage registration, web presence, and DNS settings.
