Avoid getting images in your website from getting blocked by ad blockers

Are images in your website getting blocked by ad blockers?

Ad blockers like AdBlock, Fair AdBlocker, and AdGuard AdBlocker help prevent advertisements from loading or from being displayed in websites. But in order to accomplish this, they first need ways to detect whether certain content is an ad or not.

It is important to remember this when figuring out why ad blockers are preventing legitimate content in your website from loading. Ad blockers continue to evolve, but here are a couple of pointers that have helped us prevent content from being blocked:

  • Does the image file name contain the word “ad”?
  • Is the HTML using a CSS class or ID with the word “ad”?

Good luck!
